Cost-effective and dedicated legal support for Startups and Small Businesses
du-tian ("do-ti-en") was founded by Lucy Du-Jones in November 2015 following careers in both the creative and corporate industries in London and Hong Kong and finding a lack affordable legal/business support for start-ups and small businesses seeking to navigate in an increasingly complex regulatory environment.
Bilingual in English/Chinese, Lucy is a qualified and practicing lawyer in the UK and has worked both in private practice and in-house with technology and FMCG companies. Lucy is passionate about supporting the growth of the start-up and SME world, and Lucy's vision is to help the entrepreneurial community thrive by providing competitively priced, straight forward and commercial legal advice.
A former classical pianist trained at the Royal Academy of Music and the Purcell School of Music, Lucy has performed across various locations in the UK including Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall and Barbican and remains involved in the music community.
Lucy is interested in social change and medical advancements, and supports Cancer Research UK, Marie Curie Cancer Care and CRISIS. In her spare time, Lucy enjoys performing (piano/singing), writing (see du-tian's blog), nature photography, travelling, reading and learning new languages. A pole fitness enthusiast and two time marathon completer, Lucy loves seeking new challenges (often documented on Lucy's Blogathon) and meeting new people.
